Thomas and Michael are continuing to make improvements. Thomas is getting more food everyday and continuing to gain weight. His days are pretty much filled with eating and sleeping. His nurse told me that he sleeps a lot. Even during his feedings he will be looking around a little bit and smiling in between dozing off.
Michael on the other hand is awake more often. His nurse said that this morning he was awake for awhile looking around and taking in his surroundings. There was some concern yesterday that Michael may have an infection. So some tests were ran and the first batch that came back indicated that Michael did not have an infection. They were going to run a couple more tests just to be sure.
During our visit last night, the nurse took both boys out and let us hold them together. It was so wonderful to be able to hold both of the boys and watch them as they fell asleep. We can't wait until they are home with us. She took a few pictures, a couple of the four of us together and then we took some more. It is so wonderful to check in each day and check in on the progress the babies are making!! We are so happy for all of you!! Jenny you are looking better each day as well!! Oh my gosh. The new pictures you posted tonight they look identical to me. How will we ever be able to tell them apart? They have changed so much in just one week. You make a lovely family.
